Welcome to Tech4Good Cabo Verde, a transformative initiative designed to position Cape Verde as Africa’s leading digital hub.
Our mission is to empower youth, entrepreneurs, innovators, and startups to turn ideas into actionable solutions that tackle real-world challenges.
The program is part of the Digital Cabo Verde Project – an initiative of the Government of Cabo Verde with the support of the World Bank.
The Tech4Good Hub is implemented by the Ministry of Digital Economy through the General Directorate of Telecommunication and Digital Economy (DGTED), Pro-Empresa, and Cabo Verde Digital (CVD). The implementation is supported by a Joint Venture of local and international firms, including Civitta, Crestsage Ltd., mLabs, Adyfe, and Smart City Cabo Verde Foundation.
Tech4Good Cabo Verde builds the capacity of Cape Verdeans and its diaspora, fostering entrepreneurship, digital skills, and innovation across all islands.
At the heart of our vision is an inclusive, sustainable digital economy, where everyone – from students and emerging innovators to established entrepreneurs – can participate in and benefit from the growing tech ecosystem. It will also help connect innovators, startups, and technologists across all islands to foster collaboration, skills, and market access.
The program aims to engage over 400 innovators, support 200 entrepreneurs through structured incubation programs, and contribute to the creation of 100+ startups, with 70% formalized as registered businesses.
